Lot poem
I am originally a heavenly immortal and the master of thunder and rain, I know of good and bad fortune, calamity and blessing, beforehand. Prayers offered with utmost sincerity will all receive a divine response, Drawing this final lot, all matters will be suitable and favorable.

A 'heavenly immortal' is a Great Golden Immortal, transcending all other immortals. The 'master of thunder and rain' is the deity in charge of thunder, lightning, rain, and moisture. The Emperor (Guan Di) refers to himself as a deity in heaven. Calamity, blessing, good, and bad fortune are unknown to humans, but known to the gods. Other deities may not know, but the Emperor must know beforehand. Encompassing all things without exception is called 'spirit' (ling); responding upon being touched is called 'response' (ying). Praying with utmost sincerity means that requests made without falsehood or delusion will surely receive a divine response. As the final lot, it represents completion, which is why all matters are suitable. Let those who follow the holy teachings strive together.
Interpretation
A heavenly immortal is a deity above all other immortals, and the master of thunder and rain is the important deity who controls the amount of rain, which is crucial for the cultivation and harvest of mortals. Calamity, blessing, good, and bad fortune cannot be known by mortals, but I surely know them. With utmost sincere and faithful prayers, as long as you are not greedy and harbor no intent to harm others, your wishes will surely be realized. Drawing this lot is the end of the lots, and a hundred lots also signifies completion and fulfillment; all things will go smoothly, and success will surely be achieved. A hundred is the endpoint of completion, but it is also a starting point; all things in heaven and earth have their own cycles.
