Achievement, wealth, and honor are within your own power, Should others receive the divine whip first, do not question them. For a ten-thousand-mile journey of the roc, you have your share, Atop Mount Wu, it is a fine place to practice turtle-shell divination.
Story and textual notes
Achievement, wealth, and honor. Where there is a will, there is a way. Do not envy others when they succeed first. You are destined for a grand future, and passing the imperial examinations is beyond doubt, though it may be slightly delayed. Mount Wu is a mountain in Hangzhou. Divining with turtles refers to divination. If asking about location, it points to Zhejiang province. Everything planned will turn out as desired; difficult at first but easy later, with prosperity in your later years.
Interpretation
After a long period of hard work, fame and fortune will naturally follow. Do not be overly envious of others who always seem to get ahead first. Things have their own sequence, and working hard first does not guarantee immediate success. Everyone's timing and luck are different. This lot indicates that your achievements will come later, rather than not at all. Therefore, do not be anxious. Work silently and diligently, and you will eventually achieve fame and success; impatience will only ruin things. Although it seems difficult now, your later years are bound to be smooth. For the sake of future enjoyment, you just have to bear the hardship for now.
Traditional summary
Fame and wealth will be achieved late; lawsuits will be resolved in your favor; illness will gradually heal; news from afar is expected; journeys will be delayed; marriage can be joined; pregnancy will lead to birth.
