Wu Zetian, the female emperor of the Tang Dynasty, was a legendary woman in history. During her reign, at the end of winter before spring had arrived, she wished to admire the flowers. She ordered the Flower Fairies to compete in beauty within a strict time limit, and even beat the drums herself to hasten the blossoms.
