Illness strikes constantly as fate is in decline, Why bother to throw tiles or drill tortoise shells for divination? Wait until the return of the first light of Yang is seen again, Only then can you pray to gods and rely on Buddha's protection.
Story and textual notes
The path of fortune is in decline and is currently unfavorable. Throwing tiles and drilling tortoise shells—what is the benefit of divination? Why bother doing this? Settle down to accumulate blessings early, moving the heavens, and silently relying on divine power. The auspicious date is the Winter Solstice, when the single Yang returns; or after seven days, the response will be swift. Broadly judged by solar terms, closely judged by days; all things return to spring, waiting for future prosperity. Follow this cultivation, and the holy words will not be false. Those who do not realize and self-reflect will meet with misfortune in the end.
Interpretation
The current fortune is quite bad; if inquiring about illness, it must be a long-lingering disease that will not improve in a short time. Even seeking divination and praying to gods is of no avail; it is better to believe in Heaven's arrangement, as changes will naturally occur in the dark. The fortune must wait until the Winter Solstice to turn for the better, and there will be great changes. At this time, it is advisable to wait calmly for the arrival of good luck. If you do not believe in the arrangement of heavenly principles and act willfully, you will surely bring misfortune, so proceed with caution.
