Guan Di Fortune Sticks · Lot 42
The 42nd Lot: Wu-Yi
Traditional fortune label: Good Fortune
Lot poem
I once promised you that things would be harmonious, Who would have thought your own conduct would lead you astray? Change your plans and do not stick to the old ways, Then your endeavors will surely satisfy your heart's desires.
Story and textual notes
Previous matters were promised, and there was originally an opportunity. However, your own conduct went astray, and the plans were inappropriate. Change to new plans and make alternative calculations. Do not stick to the old ways, and avoid following old habits. Endeavors will be satisfying; what is past can be restored, and what is lost can be recovered, otherwise peace can be achieved. It is a sign of discarding the old and embracing the new in all things.
Interpretation
The deities originally laid out a smooth and harmonious path for you, but due to a self-righteous personality, you ruined the heaven-sent goodwill. Furthermore, harboring bad thoughts will only harm yourself before harming others. It is best to quickly discard these bad thoughts and re-establish your goals. As long as you have no intent to harm others, you will find things even easier to handle in the future, and your fortune will turn from bad to good. In all matters, there is a meaning of discarding the old and renewing.
Traditional summary
For illness change doctors; for lawsuits revise plans; for fame and wealth change the scale; for marriage seek other options; the traveler is delayed; with divine assistance, diligently cultivate your character.
