Traditional fortune label: Good Fortune
Lot poem
Among hundreds of thousands, faces hide tiger and wolf hearts, Relying on your weapons and deep efforts to conquer them. By the time of victorious return, autumn is growing old, Joyous reunions await in the Tiger-Head City.
Story and textual notes
Hundreds and thousands of tigers and wolves refer to harmful people. Using weapons and effort signifies encountering timely rescue and assistance. Returning in victory represents receiving rewards for merits. As autumn grows old, the good times are not long. Rejoicing at the 'Tiger Head' indicates finding reliance perhaps due to past destiny. Being sought after by high officials shows the dwelling is indeed a place of joy. For warriors, this indicates prominent fame and achievement; for generals, illustrious merits. Reading the last two lines, there seems to be a meaning of acting or stopping in accordance with the times. The diviner should contemplate this carefully.
Interpretation
Hundreds of thousands of people imply a great number of people, and 'tiger and wolf hearts' refers to wicked individuals who commit many evils, requiring you to take up arms to eradicate them. After a fierce battle, by the time victory is achieved, you will have reached old age. As the saying goes, good times do not last forever; when fame is attained, one is already growing old. One can enjoy a peaceful old age in a place containing the word 'Tiger' in its name. This lot indicates that after intense struggles, one will finally defeat the enemy and enjoy a peaceful, comfortable retirement in one's later years.
Traditional summary
Lawsuits will surely be won; wealth will surely enter; illness is caused by spirits; news from afar is trustworthy; marriage can be successful; fame can be achieved; when autumn arrives, all things will be smooth.
