A fierce gale raged through the eastern garden last night, A thousand red and ten thousand purple blooms were all blown down. Fortunately, a flower lover arose early, To nourish the roots and replant them to life.
Story and textual notes
Lady Han was a consort of Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty, and she was said to be a person who cherished flowers. There is another poem about Lady Han cherishing flowers as follows: When the peach and plum trees in the garden are in full bloom, Both pale white and deep red colors are fitting. Why does the east wind envy them so bitterly, Breaking off the highest branch at dawn?
Interpretation
This oracle lot issues a warning: there will be relatively large setbacks this year. The timing is slightly unfavorable, and geographical advantages are also easily lost. The only saving grace is human harmony, hoping that benefactors will help you overcome difficulties and restore vitality. Although the garden flowers were struck by the fierce wind, fortunately there was a flower lover who spared no effort to clean up the aftermath and turn danger into safety. This flower lover can be yourself or someone else.
