Han Yu, although demoted to Chaozhou by the emperor due to his outspokenness, made great contributions in literature, virtue, and administration, and was later revered as Wengong. Han Wengong served as an official in Chaozhou with diligence and integrity, serving the country and the people. At that time, crocodiles frequently appeared along the coast of Chaozhou, threatening the lives of humans and livestock. Han Yu wrote an 'Address to the Crocodiles,' sacrificing to them with sincerity, and set a deadline for them to migrate. As a result, a miracle occurred, and crocodiles were never seen again from then on.
